BIOGRAPHY: The name itself reveals a feeling which most of us experience in moments when waiting in an airport. The band are establishing themselves as one of the most influential upcoming bands in the alternative/pop rock scene on the local scene. Early 2008, they hit the radios with their debut single `Beside You` and immediately made an impact by hitting No.1 on the Malta Top 10 chart. The second ,third and fourth singles "Wake Up" (June 2008) , "Genuine" (October 2008) and "Borderline" ( February 2009 ) once again made it to the top position of the radio charts.
These achievements and several live performances led `Airport Impressions` to be named `Best New Artist` of 2008 at the Music Awards. "Best New Comers" and "Best Artists` choice"at the Bay Music awards and Best Band and Best Song of 2009 .
With a distinct voice, impressive song writing and a great team Airport Impressions is up for an exciting year ahead of them. Following their EP debut release in 2009 the band will be releasing a full length album in 2010.
