Malta`s finest young and energetic pop rock artiste Ira Losco is back again with an impressive and novel publication. An Allied Newspapers publication `Ira Losco A Photographic Journal by Allen Venables` is the chanteuse`s first book. Brimming with her official photographer`s shots of all her live shows in Malta and accompanied by her quirky writing, this 400 page book makes it a first of its kind on our island from a music artist.

"I take my music and art very seriously and after the release of my DVD "Living It" and its cinema screening, I was delighted when Allen and Howard from `Jagged House Management` decided to add to my collection of releases with this extraordinary project. Image is very important to me and we were very meticulous during the preparation of this book, which I`m sure people who support my music will be just as excited as me about!" said an enthusiastic Ira Losco.

Ira`s career has blossomed ever since her memorable return from the Eurovision Song Contest. Since then she has evolved her style, touring Europe and Germany extensively, where she opened concerts for international super stars the likes of Sir Elton John, muso critics favourite U.K. Katie Melua, EMA 2009 EMA winners Tokio Hotel, sang duets with Gigi D`Alessio and Claudio Baglioni in their home territory, just to name a few.
The journal is a manifestation of her energetic performances up until this day, and also includes some of her more prominent and daring publicity shoots. Asked why only local concerts have been included in this publication Howard from `Jagged House Management` replied "Ira still has a very bright future ahead of her, with a busy 2010 ahead, a new album following this book, we felt confident to keep some other ideas for future publications " Laying low at this year`s award ceremonies, Losco is nominated in both the Malta Music Awards and the Bay Music Awards in the Best Remix Song Category with hits `What`s The Matter With Your Cabrio?` by DJ Ruby and `Shoulders of Giants` by the internationally acclaimed DJ Roger Shah both taken off her remix album `Mixed Beats`
