The Music Export division was set up to function along the lines of other similar European export offices. It aims to develop and enhance the export opportunities and capabilities of artists and other professionals working in the music industry .The primary target market for our Music Export Division is Europe however we have extended our network and presentations at music trade shows and conventions in Australia, USA, China, India and South Africa.
You can nearly always find us at all the top music fairs and pivotal music platforms (SXSW, Midem, Popkomm, etc..) Our objective is to produce joint promotional campaigns and provide a roster of artists to industry professionals around the world. In 2008 JAGGED HOUSE was also asked to be part of the EU lobbying commission in MIDEM to address various issues and problems many artists are currently facing . Our Music Export is either done physically – By actually setting up meetings at the trade shows with potential third partners, labels, publishers, promoters etc.. or through a vast professional IT network where we place your product in all sectors of the web relating to the Music industry. There are over 250 professional sectors which we cover resulting in showcases, interested third parties, having your music heard, having your videos spotted, extending fan bases, tour bookings and ultimately resulting in income for the artist.
We constantly seek potential partners, collect export-related information about the industry of selected target markets and distributes this information to our members, encourage clients to participate in and represents them at international trade fairs and ultimately keeping ourselves 100% up to date on news and developments in international music industry, We also help develop funds and support structures for the Music Export Division. Our relationship with industry professionals throughout the years has enabled us to have trust worthy access.
